Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We are currently expanding our team and are seeking Data Mining Systems Analysts to support our NAVAIR customers.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of exporting, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes. Candidates with current TABLEAU experience is a plus!
Duties will include data mining, building reports, and presenting data using a variety of visualization and business intelligence tools. The candidate will be responsible for designing methods to help improve data quality and presenting conclusions of data analysis using statistical methods and tools. It is preferable that the candidate also have experience using Microsoft Data Definition Language SQL commands or similar to extract, transform, and load data.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of related analytical experience. Expert background in the use of graphing and visualization tools (to include Microsoft Excel) TABLEAU and knowledge of developing database queries for Microsoft SQL Server or other database tools. Highly desired professional skills include excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess ability to multi-task.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: BA/BS degree in accounting, statistics, mathematics, computer science, business, or related field. 2 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of each year of education. Professional certifications (MCSD, etc) desired.
