Weaving Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

  • Responsibilities
    • Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Tie warps as required.
    • Ensure proper patterns are being tied back.
    • Ensure tie-in job is being performed properly to eliminate unnecessary downtime.
    • Responsible for tying both greige goods and yarn dye patterns.
    • Responsible for racking warps and transporting both rack and tie-in machine to nest loom for tying.
    • Replace old tie tails ends with new ones for repairs.
    • Backup for Machine Operator 7.
    • Maintains good housekeeping.
    • All other duties assigned.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to read and write
    • Good communication skills
    • Attention to detail and quality
    • Must be able to stand for majority of shift
    • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
    • Manual dexterity
    • Work in climate-controlled area

  • Qualifications

    Masters Degree preferred. BA/BS degree or 2 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of each year of education. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent desired.
