Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday
SUMMARY:
Supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned employees in the Phlebotomy Department. Provides logistical leadership and training to all team members. Responsible for the collection, processing, accessioning and waived testing of blood, urine and other samples from Patient Service Centers (PSC’s) and other collection sites including nursing homes, state institutions, patient’s homes and other client locations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months to 2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
A valid driver’s license from the state that the employee resides as well as a clean driving record. Must be accessible to appropriate and reliable transportation to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Certification required by the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support to include adult, child and infant. Certification will be provided if needed.
