    Our team is seeking a leader who is focused, collaborative and consultative to join our growing analytics and insights team. We are looking for candidates who are experienced and comfortable distilling qualitative and quantitative insights from data sets in either our New York City or Washington D. C. offices. This person will lead work across social, media, digital, and polling-focused research projects designed around pressing needs from corporations, startups, campaigns, advocacy groups, and non-profits. This lead will run and develop the team, grow our offering, work to improve cross-firm integration, and ensure that Precision analytics and insights continues to be industry-leading.

    What You Will Be Doing:

    • Managing the firm's offering around social listening, influencer identification, measurement and impact, and digital analysis.
      • Staying up to date on competitive intelligence and industry trends
    • Managing vendor relationships and contracts across tech stack including Meltwater, Buzzsumo, Pollfish, Google Analytics, Quid, SEMrush, etc.
    • Refining and continuing to iterate on the team's methodology and approach to research, analysis, and presentation
      • Building and refining our approach to data collection
    • Iterating on our analysis toolbox including coding and categorization frame works and use of internal and proprietary analysis methodology
    • Managing the development of client deliverables; ensuring they each tell a complete, compelling, and synthesized story about the data landscape
    • Creating impactful measurement programs and KPIs across client activations
    • Overseeing the development of templates and standardization of offering creation
    • Empowering team member to customize and iterate on our standard approach as needed—and giving them the tools to do so
    • Creating and managing business development materials that speak to the firm's offering
    • Overseeing ongoing integration of the insights and analytics work across all Precision's verticals and teams
    • Identifying opportunities to grow the offering within the competitive landscape
    • Leading client work end-to-end from business development, through research delivery, campaign measurement, and ultimately additional organic growth
      • Managing client relationships
    • Staffing and empowering analysts and managers across client work, providing guidance as necessary
    • Running a diverse and dynamic team who use data to build compelling and insightful stories
      • Managing team hiring processes
    • Managing project staffing and balancing workloads
    • Empowering managers on the team members with client engagements and their own managerial responsibilities
    • Mentoring and growing the team internally
    • Secure additional resources as needed
    • · Providing regular reporting and visibility for partners and senior leaders internally into the analytics and insights practice.

    What We Are Looking For:

    • An analytics leader with 12+ years of experience working in analytics, data or research preferably with experience in an agency setting
    • Experience managing teams and complex stakeholder relationships
    • Experience working with diverse sets of data and leading teams that synthesize stories across datatypes
    • Understanding of a variety of industries, including corporate, political, and advocacy
    • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and priorities.
    • Highly collaborative team player who enjoys working across teams.
    • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
