    JOB TITLE: RN/PMH Behavioral Health

    RATE: Up to $2922 weekly

    LOCATION: Waterville ME

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Training, Education and Experience: Experience in treatment of psychiatric disorders

    Registration, Licensure, or Certification Required by Law: An unrestricted Nursing License (RN) and American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification in Psychiatric – Mental Health Nursing (PMH-BC)

    Other Qualifications (Skills and Abilities): Knowledgeable in psychiatric pharmacology

    PRIMARY (ESSENTIAL) JOB DUTIES AND RESULTS:

    1. Provides direct care services by
      1. conducting initial nursing assessments and ongoing assessments of med clinic clients
      2. assessing & identifying the differing developmental and treatment needs of the adult , child, male, female, and geriatric clients
      3. providing case management and crisis intervention
      4. teaching healthy life skills, including information about pharmacotherapy and the interpretation of prescriptions
      5. visit types: injections, medi-sets, refill clinic appointments, treatment plans and annual assessments and collecting urine specimens when requested for urine screening
      6. Provide assistance when needed in resolving client related phone calls


    1. Participates in the process of client case management by
      1. participating in nursing & team treatment meetings
      2. collaborating with other internal & external health professionals
      3. consulting with agency staff as required
      4. recommending change that facilitate client goals
      5. consulting to the medical community and clients’ primary health care providers as needed

    1. Documents client care as evidenced by accurate medical records by
      1. completing documentation in accordance with KBH guidelines
      2. responding to clinical and administrative audits in accordance with KBH guidelines
      3. following the ethical standards set forth by Licensing standards and in accordance with KBH guidelines

    1. Contributes to program and organizational fiscal stability by
      1. managing productivity expectations established by the program
      2. utilizing support systems and staff effectively
      3. completing timely documentation in accordance with KBH billing requirements
