    RN Job Description:

    As a Registered Nurse (RN), your primary responsibility is to provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

    LPN Job Description:

    The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in patient care by contributing to the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of RN(s), the LPN provides direction and guidance in patient education and activities that align with their education and demonstrated competencies.

    Key Responsibilities

    RN GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Under the general supervision of the Unit Manager or Shift Supervisor, renders professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit or area of the nursing home in support of medical care as prescribed by members of the Medical Staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the Department of Nursing.

    LPN GENERAL SUMMARY:
    Under the general supervision of the RN, renders nursing care to residents within an assigned unit of the nursing home. Assists the RN in implementing the resident care plan on a designated unit.

    Qualifications & Requirements
    Education
    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

    Experience
    • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience

    Licenses/Certifications - RN:
    • Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

    Licenses/Certifications - LPN:
    • Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
