Precision is seeking a research associate to join a growing cell therapy company. An ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and desire to be at the forefront of research. This position will be focused on the cell therapy efforts of the company and be partnered with two Sr. Scientists for mentorship and growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform murine injections, tumor measurements, and blood collections
• Harvest tissues and isolate lymphocytes
• Perform in vitro T cell functional assays with murine T cells
• Retroviral transduction, cytokine release, killing, and proliferation assays
• Maintain cell lines

Skills

• Murine handling techniques and injections
  • Specifically; tail vein, tail base, and subcutaneous injections as well as retro-orbital bleeds
  • Experience with murine syngeneic tumor models (esp. subcutaneous)
• Tissue culture
  • Sterile technique to isolate splenocytes or lymphocytes from either spleen or tumor samples.
  • Transfection of viral packaging cells
  • Murine T cell isolation, transduction, or functional assay experience would be a bonus
  • ELISA based assay experience (Luminex/MSD) would be a bonus
  • Flow cytometry experience would be a bonus

Qualifications

• BA with 1-3 years of relevant work experience OR MS with 0-1 years of experience
• Local to Boston or Willing to relocate
• Ability to start Immediately
• US Citizen (Not able to Sponsor for this position)
