Job Description:
The Senior Project Manager / Account Executive is responsible for leading and managing multiple functional resources to accomplish the client’s program objectives through excellent project management. The position will provide exceptional client management and serve as the primary day-to-day client contact. This position will monitor project status and performance to maintain the quality of the deliverables and content and collaborate with other project leads to achieve cross-project initiatives. As required, this position will travel to client’s meetings/programs to serve as the project lead and provide full management of the logistical execution of the programs. Furthermore, this position will develop strategic plans to ensure client program success by maintaining thorough knowledge of the client industry, programs, and associated compliance.
Specific Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for complete project management as related to one or multiple programs/projects by ensuring exceptional project quality and deliverance by involving coordination of scientific, editorial, and logistical details.
- Lead all project phases including, but not limited to, meetings and associated events, publication development, meeting collateral development, educational and promotional multi-media tools, online and interactive website tools as they pertain to the programs. Collaborate with internal departments to achieve cross-project initiatives.
- Ensure program presentation content conveys the appropriate message in the most effective manner. Develop documentation; monitor and report project status; assess the effectiveness and accuracy; gather input and feedback; monitor project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content.
- Provide key client/account management. Successfully manage day-to-day client relations, stay engaged throughout all initiatives and scope of the project. Provide updates regarding project development and progress, lead meetings and client calls, and prepare timelines.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the programs and associated compliance; effectively identify, understand, research, track and prioritize projects and develop strategies to ensure client program success.
- As required, travel to client’s meetings/programs by serving as the project lead and provide full management of the logistical execution of the programs.
- Create and lead marketing strategies with senior management by identifying business opportunities and implementing strategies for the development of business relationships with potential clients and vendors.
