Position: Cath Lab Tech CV TECH

Shift Schedule: 5x8hr day shifts(On call required every other weekend and some weeknights each month)

Location: San Diego

Job Type: 13 Weeks Contract

Start date: 02/13/2023 - 05/14/2023

Pay: 90$ to 95$ depending on experience.

Job descriptionCath Lab Tech(CV TECH) duties and responsibilities focus on giving patients timely care.

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

Previous experience or training in a Cardiovascular Lab; required

Cardiovascular technician training program with an emphasis on invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, is preferred.

BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current

Certified Cardiovascular Technician; CCPT (invasive emphasis), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), CCPT (invasive emphasis), preferred

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); is required.
