Position: Limited X-ray Technologist

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Location: Orange .CA

Job description:

We’re looking for experienced and professional candidates who can independently perform all outpatient X Ray Tech exams and procedures with high-quality results.

Qualifications:

Perform high-quality digital X-ray exams on incoming patients (within the legal scope of your license).

Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns.

Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.

Respond to physician questions regarding exams.

Answer phones and greet incoming patients and visitors.

Register patients, perform insurance verification, and collect co-pays.

Coordinate with office staff for timely care of patients.

May on occasion travel to our nearby centers to receive training and/or help with coverage.

Participate in various projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

We're looking for dependable and professional candidates with BLS certification issued by AHA, a CA State Limited X-ray Technician Permit (MUST INCLUDE/COVER DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY, CHEST, EXTREMITIES, SKULL, AND TORSO-SKELETAL). Successful completion of a limited X-Ray Technician program, and a High School Diploma. The ability to multi-task, excellent customer service skills, great communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, computer skills, Recent X-ray work experience is preferred.
