Pay: 60$ to 65$ depending on experience.

Responsibilities

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE Physical Therapist Professional license in Massachusetts 1 year Traveler and 1 Year Home Care experience. Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Job Summary: Provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence who have physical impairments, functional limitations or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years. Collaborate with patient, family, physician, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs

Utilizing thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications in accordance with agency policies, procedures, and standards of practice of MGH Home Care.

Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes, but Home Health experience needed

Required Certifications: BLS Skills Required: Wound care, including wound vacs, pleural drains, ostomy care; peripheral blood draws, central line care, IV administration through multiple devices including elastomeric and IV pumps, excellent assessment skills, experience with computer documentation EMR: EPIC/Computer charting

Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain good working rapport with patients and coworkers. Ability to exercise sound judgment and safety in performance of patient care and employee relations. Ability to guide and evaluate the professional development of subordinates, while continuing to upgrade his/her own skills. Solid knowledge of Physical Therapy principles of evaluation and treatment for a general orthopedic and neurologically impaired population.
