Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to coordinate and supervise day-to-day electrical solar construction activities. The Superintendent is responsible for identifying and implementing detailed solutions to complex technical problems. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to effectively promote safety and ensure code compliance, and drive to maintain a high level of quality on all tasks.
Responsibilities:
Direct teams of electricians on solar jobs from start to finish, using the assigned subcontractors and tradesmen.
Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
Maintain electrical construction schedule; identify both potential issues and solutions.
Troubleshoot problems that occur with the job.
Communicate with owners and subs in connection with field issues.
Build positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.
Provide technical guidance and support as the team installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems.
Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience working as an Electrical Construction Superintendent (8+ years preferred).
Ability to work in an environment that requires decisiveness and a strong work ethic.
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
Scheduling knowledge required,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High School Diploma/GED/ or equivalent.
Journeyman Electrician (STRONGLY PREFFERED)
Strong skills in Solar Construction
This is a traveling position
OSHA 30 or be able to obtain
CPR-First Aid
Clean Driving record
Computer Skills Word, Excel Preferred
A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
