    Job Description: Director of HR

    As the HR Director you will play a critical role in shaping the company's culture, fostering employee engagement, and driving organizational success. We are seeking a collaborative leader and strategic thinker who is passionate about people and organizational development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to department heads and managers on all HR-related matters.
    • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance review processes to evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
    • Succession Planning: Lead succession planning efforts to identify and develop high-potential talent within the organization, ensuring continuity in leadership roles and key positions.
    • Policy Development: Continuously review and enhance HR policies and procedures to promote fairness, compliance, and employee satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal requirements.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA. Implement and enforce policies to mitigate risk and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Training and Development: Design and deliver leadership and management training programs to enhance leadership capabilities, foster employee growth, and drive continuous improvement.
    • Employee Relations: Proactively address employee relations issues and conflicts, providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage others.
    • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives that drive business results.
    • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • SHRM certification is a plus.
