    Job Description:
    We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues, identify opportunities for process improvement, and support the introduction of new products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure product quality.
    • Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new products.
    • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and process simulations to identify bottlenecks and optimize production flow.
    • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment to improve manufacturing capabilities and reduce cycle times.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to increase throughput and reduce labor costs.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address production issues and non-conformities.
    • Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for manufacturing personnel.
    • Support new product introductions (NPI) by providing input on design for manufacturability (DFM) and production ramp-up plans.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality, reduce lead times, and lower procurement costs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all manufacturing activities.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • Previous experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial equipment manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing fixtures and tooling.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, assembly, and finishing.
    • Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
    • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
    • Authorization to work in the United States.
