Repair of computers, control systems, monitoring equipment and ancillary components used in the MRI/CT suite of controls. Typical systems would include Image Reconstruction Systems (IRS), Image Control Systems (ICS), Data Acquisition and Recon Control systems (DARC), Image Generators (IG), Image Compute Nodes (ICN), SCSI Towers and HP host computers.
You will use oscilloscopes, meters, network Analyzer, together with system diagnostics tools that are incorporated into our various in-house MRI scanners.
Reverse engineering of setup codes and procedure including alarm functions and multi computer interfaces with their protocols and interface devices.
Produce detailed service reports

Qualifications:
BSEE/BSCS, in combination with two years of experience as an MRI/CT field repair technician or comparable work experience
Firsthand experience with the operation of MRI equipment and a basic understanding of MRI/CT Radio Frequency components and their functions. Knowledge of RF electronics and antennas a plus
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple processes with minimal supervision
Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
