    Job Description

    Aerospace Tube & Duct Fabrication Company in Santa Fe Springs is seeking a Sales Administrator/Customer Service/ Production Follow-up Representative. We are seeking an experienced individual to monitor orders within the shop and communicate status with both the customer and the company.

    This position is ideal for an ambitious person and is a multi role position requiring balanced mix of duties and skills. This candidate needs to be detailed oriented, organized, self motivated.

    This position primary duties are to support the sales and planning department in receiving, preparing and submitting pricing bids and proposals to customers. Duties include completing forms, returning phone calls or emailing customers, completing customer’s online secure portals. Researching prior orders and gathering historical paperwork and presenting data to the estimating staff.

    The candidate will also manage select customer accounts, receive new orders, gather related engineering paperwork or data and submit them to the planning team. Also communicate with customers effectively either verbally, phone, or email.

    Provide general sales/account management administrative support to include preparing proposals, reports, entering quotes, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software

    Ensure secure and accurate management of account files and records

    Coordinate with account managers, production staff, and management as necessary to assist with part updates, certifications, and other relevant account information

    Ensure accurate data entry and scanning of quotes into applicable software

    Assist with client and production updates

    Perform other administrative support duties as necessary

    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of management principles and practices. Knowledge of Quality Policy, ISO9000, and AS9100 guidelines and regulations. Ability to communicate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities. Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of product development.

    Experience in the Aerospace Industry is a must.

    Specialized knowledge of Governmental sales techniques and utilization of computers Microsoft Office and emphasis in Excel

    Education:

    Two (2) Years AA degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Accounting, Purchasing or a related certificate program is desired.

    Several years relevant work experience may substitute for a lack of formal education.

    Citizenship:

    Due to our working with US Govt contracts the applicant must be a US Citizen, or equivalent.
