    Job Description

    Well-established and fast growing Aerospace tube bending manufacturer is seeking a Sales Administrator to join our team.

    This position is ideal for an ambitious person and is a multi role position requiring balanced mix of duties and skills. This candidate needs to be detailed oriented, organized, self motivated.

    This position primary duties are to support the sales and planning department in receiving, preparing and submitting pricing bids and proposals to customers. Duties include completing forms, returning phone calls or emailing customers, completing customer’s online secure portals. Researching prior orders and gathering historical paperwork and presenting data to the estimating staff.

    The candidate will also manage select customer accounts, receive new orders, gather related engineering paperwork or data and submit them to the planning team. Also communicate with customers effectively either verbally, phone, or email.

    The successful candidate will also have good organization, basic MS Office skills, intermediate Excel skills, know networked environment file management, records management, and have document control experience. You will perform document scanning, PDF creation, and physical paper filing plus assist with resolving routine computer workstation, copier/ scanner and phone systems issues.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reviews RFP’s (Request for Price), RFQ’s ( Request for Quote) and follow-on proposed contracts for acceptable terms and conditions prior to submitting to management for acceptance.
    • Negotiates pricing, scheduling, and terms and conditions of contracts, administers contracts, coordinates flow of information and requests with outside contracts and PTB personnel.
    • Follow-up on delinquencies/shipments with other departments and advises customers if there are any changes. Responds to telephone requests and or request from internal or external customers.
    • Implement sales order entry, develop proficiency with visual operations system, manage sales order entry tool, review, create, coordinate with sales group to assure sales order accuracy and maintain associated sales metrics. Deals with customer queries where necessary.
    • Enters sales orders, requests for job orders, submits pricing proposals, and ensures that all information included is accurate.
    • Ensures security and confidentiality of data and information. Analyze and monitor internal office processes.
    • Submits contractually required cost reports, status reports, progress reports and other data on a semi-monthly and quarterly basis

    QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing or successful performance of a formal development plan leading to a BS/BA degree is required. EXPERIENCE

    • Broad knowledge of a general technical or sales or marketing or business field. Knowledge of personal computer and associated application software.
    • Ability to prioritize workload and adjust to multiple priorities.
    • Over 5 years up to and including seven years of sales support, sales contracts, customer service, business office experience for an aerospace manufacturing company.
