About the Scribe Position
We are seeking an experienced and devoted individual to join our growing team as a medical scribe. The position is full time and based at our Nashville office. This exciting position provides exposure to a fast-paced startup environment, significant room for advancement within the company and, given excellent performance and competency the ability to work flexible hours from home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete and/or review medical documentation for accuracy and completion in accordance with company guidelines
- Record consultations or discussions with the patient, family and/or any other medical or non-medical specialty service. Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions
- Assist in transcribing interactions, results of any lab, x-ray, consultation, and/or other pertinent data into appropriate data fields as required
- Daily administrative support including site coordination and scribe workforce management
SKILLS
- Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients and team members
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for solving new problems
- Significant computer skills and experience with electronic health records
- Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in medical Spanish is a bonus.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Live in or near Nashville, TN (Office in Wedgewood-Houston near Vanderbilt)
- One year commitment required
- Must be available for a minimum of 35 hours per week
- Proficient typing speed
- Previous scribe experience and medical terminology familiarity required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $11.00 to $16.00 /hour
