WHO WE ARE

Healthcare providers spend over half their day typing, dictating, and searching through patient notes. We believe all that effort should be harnessed by the medical system to learn from every patient interaction and continually improve patient care. Unfortunately, current systems are cumbersome to use and require additional effort from providers.

We are developing a new kind of scribe service that uses machine learning to support our scribes. This enables a system that learns from every patient interaction to help doctors take the best care of their patients. We are excited for you to be a part of it!

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and devoted individual to join our growing team as a medical scribe.  The position is FULL TIME AND BASED AT OUR NASHVILLE OFFICE. This exciting position provides EXPOSURE TO A FAST-PACED STARTUP ENVIRONMENT, SIGNIFICANT ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT WITHIN THE COMPANY, and given excellent performance and competency, the ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS FROM HOME.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scribe and complete documentation for remote physician
• Record consultations or discussions with the patient and family. Record diagnosis, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions
• Assist in completing charts by scribing interactions, results of any lab, imaging, and other pertinent data into appropriate data fields

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients
• Able to work independently in an accountable fashion
• Good computer skills using a medical management application
• Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
• Ability to effectively communicate

REQUIREMENTS

• Must live in Nashville or surrounding area
• Must have 6-12 months of experience as a medical scribe (will consider medical students)
• Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Proficient typing speed
• Prefer applicants with familiarity of medical terminology
• One year commitment preferred

JOB TYPES: Full-time ( >35 hrs / week) or Part-time ( >15 hrs / week)

SALARY: $12.00 to $16.00 /hour with opportunities for advancement within the company
