Job Description
The Sports Preditor position will be responsible for conceiving, producing, writing, and editing high quality, innovative sports content that efficiently and creatively promote the network’s programs and brand. You will be expected to write, derive cuts, as well as create assets specific for multi-platforms that add to the amplification of campaigns.
This is a project/limited term position, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Responsibilities
• Reporting both to Creative Director, and Creative Manager, conceive, write, produce, and edit a wide range of Sports themed assets including network on-air promotional spots, image campaigns, and short-form programming.
• Impactful writing, dazzling cutting and an innovative point of view are a must.
• Ability to identify music and sound design as well as graphics for promotions and campaigns.
• Ability to create content across multiple platforms.
• With only general direction and guidance, you should independently provide stylized, creative content, and be the driving force behind the look and feel of many projects. Must have understanding between what works digitally vs. linear TV.
• Conceptualizing campaigns and pitching concepts to creative management team.
• Work in conjunction with in-house designers, audio mixers, out-of-house production companies.
• Remain up-to-date with the latest marketing, social, digital and industry trends. Off-Air, Consumer Marketing, etc.
• Using the Design toolkit and guidelines tournament-specific to develop and execute stunning creative to promote our signature Sports events across multiple audiovisual outlets.

Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience as a Producer/Editor in a Network or Agency environment. Ability to juggle multiple projects through all phases of production with strong organizational skills required.
• Proven writing experience in Spanish is a must.
• Previous experience working, writing and/or conceptualizing Sports promos/spots is highly desired.
• Candidate must possess a broad knowledge of current production and post-production techniques.
• Must have a complete understanding of the Avid Media Composer ecosystem and editing tools, and the ability to edit multi-cam sequences.
• Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong sound design skills a plus.
Desired Characteristics
• A degree in TV/Film production or related field and/or specialized training in editing and editing equipment/systems or equivalent work experience is required.
• A working knowledge of After Effects.
• Design and motion graphics skills a plus: After Effects and or Cinema 4D.
• Color grading knowledge and skills, or a desire to learn, a plus.
• Strong awareness of industry trends design, advertising, fashion and film.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to workshop with designers and writers.
• Active contributor in a team environment and provides mentorship to junior staff.
• Pitch and presentation skills.
• Candidate must have the proven ability to work independently and creatively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment, while producing high quality results and maintaining a professional attitude.
• Knowledge of sports is a plus, particularly an understanding of major leagues, teams, and current trends across soccer, football, basketball, baseball, Olympics, and other popular sports. Familiarity with sports culture, fan engagement, and storytelling within the sports industry is highly valued.
Additional Requirements This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
