Preferred Care at Home seeks to work with the best CNAs, PCAs and HHAs in the industry, and some positions require you to be certified or have a valid license.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilies may include performing basic and routine patient care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checking vitals, intake/output, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation. Or you may provide help with light housekeeping tasks including doing laundry (client clothing and linens) and changing the bed. You will need to observe and report any changes in the client's mental, physical, or emotional condition or home situation to your immediate supervisor in a timely manner and communicate effectively and professionally with clients, family members, and co-workers. 

SKILLS:

You must have the ability to communicate in English, work independently and as part of a team, follow directions closely, and complete tasks on schedule. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have valid, verifiable credentials (license, certification)

Must have your own transportation and a clean driving record

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be able to pass a background check
