Responsibilities include:
- Oversee accounting department for all dealership locations to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions.
- Supervise and train accounting team as needed in each location, making sure that all operating efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for owners.
- Develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency across dealership locations.
- Ensure all reports are submitted to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
- Submit timely and accurate factory financial statements.
- Meet with department Managers regularly to address ways to improve business, goal attainment, as well as performance.
- Coordinate audits and ensure proper filing of tax returns is handled in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with dealership owners to develop and implement comprehensive data and reporting functions for all dealership locations.
- Maintain legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
- Assist in developing and encouraging teamwork across all departments and stores.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting - REQUIRED
- Five (5) years of Controller experience or extensive experience in similar role.
- Experience in automotive accounting – REQUIRED.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of retail automotive.
- Working knowledge of information technology to facilitate needs for the various offices and systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated progressive leadership, supervisory, and team management experience in prior roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, as well as organization skills.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000 DOE

- Job is located in Tucson, AZ 85705: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
