As the Lead Android Developer for a start up, you’ll work end-to-end on core consumer product, a mobile app to manage a credit card product. You’ll interface closely with top design talent, as well as key partners and customers to help architect and implement new products and features. Software engineering experience building complex systems and experience working with financial products and processes is a must. 

This individual will be responsible for creating the Android version of their mobile app from start to finish. You are tasked with taking their previous development work and converting it into an Android capable version for public use. The individual taking on this position will have a lot of ownership.  This job can be fully remote and the client is willing to sponsor H1B visas.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of Mobile Applications, Mobile Engineer Building and Android App Development from scratch
• Knowledge of Android development and Google Play Store 
• Experience working in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and regulatory, financial, privacy, and security experts
• Experience works with many different services and processes together even if you have not worked with them before
• Experience and Knowledge working with the best practices in engineering, security, and design

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end development
• Build new features for internal and external users for the app
• Deliver high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes throughout the job
• Collaborate with other teams with product, design, and operations
