    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide care, supervision, and support to adult clients.
    • Assist with household chores and help clients with medication self-administration.
    • Facilitate social activities and accompany clients on approved outings.
    • Conduct basic group sessions with clients.
    • Perform house rounds to ensure a safe environment.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to maintain their health and safety.
    • Complete and maintain accurate chart documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED required; experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities in a facility setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for compassionate and motivated hires.
    • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as per the agency's auto insurance requirements.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a community-based treatment setting.
    • Understanding of, and sensitivity to, working with a diverse, multi-ethnic population.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be friendly yet maintain professional boundaries to help guide clients toward their goals.
    • Proficient in critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Willingness to work shifts as assigned.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to obtain Department of Justice clearance per Community Care Licensing requirements.
    • Commitment to participate in at least 20 hours of in-service training and supervision annually.
