Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for verifying that all of the requested implants and instruments are prepared and ready for surgery. This position will utilize communication skills, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and in-person meetings to assist current customers and secure potential customers. This position reports to the RSD, RSM, or Sales Team Leader within a defined territory or region.
PAY
- STARTING EARNINGS FOR COMMISSION COMPENSATION RANGE FROM $50,000 TO $100,000 PLUS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND SALES GROWTH IN THE MARKET.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Requests implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS
- Plans, coordinates and ensures all implants and instruments are in place prior to the case.
- Coordinates surgeon schedule
- Reports on competitor and customer activities in the field
- Builds strong relationships with key surgeons while having the ability to cover Reconstructive, Extremities, CAS, Surgical, Sports Medicine, and Trauma procedures with clinical proficiency
- Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities, and training.
- Analyzes sales/market data to assist in the development of territory strategy.
- Supports Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas, and references.
- Develops relationships with internal support personnel.

EXPECTED AREAS OF COMPETENCE
- Must be mobile and willing to travel
- Willing and capable of carrying weights up to 75 lbs

- Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail
- Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of an Associates degree or medical certification is required.
- Minimum of 0-3 years’ sales or sales service experience in medical device, surgical.
