    Job Description

    SAREC SPORTS TRAVEL (part of the Premier Sports Group of Companies) IS HIRING! We provide sports travel related services to Collegiate and Youth / Amateur teams as well as Organizations and Event Hosts. We take sports travel to a whole new level of convenience and security with our custom reservation system.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Source and process new travel requests for Teams and Tournaments. • Review client needs and determine the suitability of each hotel through our confidential RFP process • Thoroughly vet each hotel during the negotiation process and prior to entering into contracts • Accept incoming reservation calls / emails and assist individuals’ questions and telephone bookings • Manage weekly reporting for contracted accounts • Prioritize daily workload efficiently and effectively - Daily tasks are always changing • Participate in travel related webinars, training sessions, hotel brand events • Maneuver efficiently through our booking application system • Promptly and warmly make and answer calls to assist with reservations, confirmations, special requests, and questions. • Review hotel details, rates, services, amenities, and other information regarding the hotel as requested. • Solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements if necessary. • Complete the reservation process with guests (sell, process, enter, and confirm room reservations). • Maintain knowledge of our reporting system, current events, and potential issues. • Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit card information. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public. You will work closely with team Coaches, Managers and hotel personnel to provide ideal housing solutions to fit each team’s travel needs.

    EDUCATION Must have an associates degree and /or equivalent administrative, clerical, travel industry experience. EXPERIENCE • Hotel, customer service, clerical, or similar administrative experience preferred but not mandatory. • Exceptional organizational skills; excellent written and oral communication skills required. • Positive interpersonal skills required with ability to work independently. • Must be fluent in verbal and written English. • Excellent computer and typing skills required. Google Suite proficiency desired. • Expert listening and comprehension skills required

     

    WE OFFER

    • $35,000.00 - $38,000.00 salary.
