Online Nursing Instructor: Full-Time and Part-time positions The Premier International College invites applications for full-time and part-time, twelve-month continuing faculty positions beginning from March 2022. Search will be open until filled. Instructor provides online theory and skills lab instruction. The instructor evaluates and documents student progress, provides students with feedback on their progress, and works with students in need of remediation for improvement. Strong communication skills, enthusiasm, energy, and the ability to work well with diverse groups are required. Advanced knowledge of computer operations is also required as this will be an online learning experience. Primary Functions and Responsibilities * The instructor effectively instructs students following approved course syllabi and materials. * Promote student success by exhibiting a passion for teaching, motivating, and engaging students in the learning process. * Assess student work and progress in a timely manner and give students feedback and guidance for improvement as needed. * Maintain a professional learning environment * Records attendance and student progress and submit grade reports on time. * Organize clinical rotation in coordination with nursing staff at the designated clinical facility. * Adhere to school and clinical site operating policies and procedures and safety. Qualifications * ASN OR BSN degree in Nursing from a nationally-accredited nursing program and regionally accredited Institution or equivalent accreditation * Minimum of three years of nursing practice experience. * Current unrestricted BSN,MSN licensure or eligibility for BSN, MSN licensure in the state of Florida. (REQUIRED) * Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. Preferred Qualifications * Expertise in medical/surgical, community and public health, or mental health nursing * Certification or experience in high fidelity simulation * Experience with the development and delivery of on-line coursework. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Demonstrated expertise in nursing knowledge and clinical practice. * Strong communication skills * Strong computer skills using web-based applications and Microsoft Office since this will be an online learning environment * Understanding of and commitment to ANA Code of Ethics for Nursing, BSN Essentials and other regulatory documents. * Actively collaborates both within and outside the University in the development and delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning. * Must value continued scholarship as well as service to the community and university. * Competence in use of technology Company Description Premiere International College (PIC) is dedicated to honing compassionate and skilled degrees.
