Role Overview:

Could you be our next Premium Accounting Clerk? **** Globe Life is looking for a Premium Accounting Clerk to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate application of premium for all Globe Life policies. The clerk will be expected to make appropriate determinations based on information provided and policies established by the Premium Accounting Department. Through these tasks and others, the Premium Accounting department handles $315MM in premium monthly and $3.8B in premium yearly.

This is an on-site role located in Oklahoma City, OK.

******What You Will Do:**

• Payment research and application.
• Daily balancing of transactions processed.
• Processing refund payments.
• Accounting entries as required.
• Assist with other responsibilities assigned by management.

What You Can Bring:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Related work experience preferred.
• Previous remittance processing, banking or insurance experience a plus.
• Intermediate operation of a 10-key calculator.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office; including outlook, word and excel.
• Basic accounting knowledge; including familiarity with general ledger entries.
• Detail Oriented; ability to do research in multiple systems.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Available to work overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent and related experience, Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledgeable in Project / Cost Accounting
• Experience using computerized accounting systems

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in accounting operations for construction, architecture, engineering or other project based professional services company

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
