    Position: General Manager/Buyer

    Reports To: District Manager

    Basic Purpose: This position works cooperatively with the District Manager to achieve total store sales and budget while maintaining standards throughout the store. Additional duties are to direct the associates and manage the store in compliance with policies while maintaining outstanding customer service.

    Model excellent customer service by setting the example for all Teammates by being socially skilled, outgoing, friendly, always smiling and exhibiting positive attitude.

    Supervision and leadership of associates.

    Ensure store is appropriately merchandised to fit the current season and the needs of our customer base.

    Responsible for achieving (or exceeding) budgeted sales, gross profits, and controllable expenses.

    Order for the spirits store to meet the weekly store needs and minimize out of stocks.

    To identify store hiring needs. Coordinate the overall process to the management team and hire as needed to minimize turnover.

    Ensure areas of supervision meet labor standards and teammates are scheduled appropriately to meet the demands of the business.

    Organize and maintain overheads and backroom back stock. Label for identification.

    Work with appropriate manager to hold vendors accountable for product level, merchandising and shelf conditions.

    Responsible for preparation, paperwork and results of inventory or cycle counts.

    Prepare all opening and closing paperwork as necessary per Bottles policies.

    Walk store for opening and closing procedure follow-up.

    Comparison shop every quarter to maintain competitive pricing in the market.

    Monitor and respond to e-mails daily for immediate action and follow up.

    Maintain and follow cleaning and tagging schedule.

    Responsible for leading a team of salesman and associates to reset categories as needed.

    Must follow management scheduling guidelines and work required schedule as dictated by the needs of the business including closing on weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

    Upholds and supports all policies and procedures as needed.

    Personalize conversations with customers by learning names and buying habits.

    Handles customer refunds or complaints with a smile, a sincere apology, a sense of urgency and achieves a resolution to satisfy the customer.

    Actively participates on the front end as needed to maintain customer service standards.

    Must be at least 21 years of age.

    Must be able to lift 50lbs.

    Experience:

    Liquor Store: 3 years (Preferred)

    Management: 1 year (Preferred)

    Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
