    Position Details

    The Vice President & Business Lead is responsible for the operational and financial performance of all franchises within the Business portfolio at Premium Service Business. This role will work day-to-day with Franchise Owners, vendors, and PSB corporate franchise coaches and staff to provide the necessary resources needed to optimize Business performance. This position will develop and maintain the Business’s vision and strategy, define key goals for the business and individual franchise owners by promoting organizational/Business alignment. The VP/Business Lead will need to motivate and inspire owners to meet objectives utilizing in-person engagements, team meetings, essential KPIs and training. A qualified candidate must possess strong leadership competencies across all experience levels, industry knowledge, business acumen, and communication skills.

    Job Responsibilities

    Create, manage, and maintain an annual financial budget to include top-line and bottom-line goals

    Lead, coach, and mentor Franchise Business Coaches (FBC’s) through weekly metrics and goals review meetings, and in-person field visits for continuous improvement and goal attainment

    Build and foster new and existing relationships to promote Business performance

    Increase productivity, profitability, and customer service of franchise owners

    Identify, improve, and create processes within the operations of franchise Business

    Collaborate with Department Leads (Marketing, Operations, Customer Contact Center Lead, Legal, Franchise Development, and others at the PSB corporate office) to ensure alignment, innovate, drive results, and to support franchisee growth

    Drive vendor partnerships to increase effectiveness and efficiency for all parties

    Facilitate conferences and training for coaches and Franchisees in partnership with VP of Learning and certified coach staff

    Actively participate in PSB-wide initiatives, programs and meetings

    Lead a robust peer performance groups within the Business for best practice sharing and business growth/development

    Contribute to new franchisee recruiting efforts including taking 1-1 calls with candidates, presenting at Discovery Days, and completing candidate assessments and summaries

    What we’re are looking for:

    Experience working with Microsoft Office, GSuite and competent in learning other platforms and programs that support our franchisees and organization

    Positive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teams and independently

    Goal and action orientated, with ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to be assertive, empathetic, inspiring and engaging to others

    Ability to create goals and business plans with Franchise Owners, Franchise Business coaches, and others in-person or virtually

    Experience leading teams, offices, and/or groups of various sizes and levels

    Strong presentation and communication skills with outstanding relationship management expertise

    Sound ability to analyze information quickly, respond logically, and use data to influence decisions, including creating goals, budgets and identify trends

    5+ years running a business and/or understanding the proficiency relating to running a business

    Proven track record of achieving results, KPIs and exceeding goals

    Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (required)

    Master of Business Administration (bonus)

    Added Bonus if:

    Experience in the home services industry including specific experience in multiple aspects of home maintenance

    Experience in writing home services estimates, selling home services jobs to residential customers and leading employees/subcontractors/craftsmen

    Travel

    Up to 25% to franchisee locations, the corporate office in Charlottesville, and to company events and conferences.
