Position Information:
The Accounting Admin/Bookkeeper supports the accounting team. Accounting team maintains and records a complete and systematic set of business transactions that includes balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports to show receipts, expenditures, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Reports to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of company accounts as needed by designated time frame (weekly, monthly, and yearly)
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
Assist in preparing financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
Qualifications for Admin/Bookkeeper
Associate or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of accounting and office software
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger preferred
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience as a small business administrator/bookkeeper
