    As a prep chef at Sweet Paris, you are the foundation of our kitchen's success. You take pride in the "art of the start"-- transforming fresh, High-quality ingredients into the essential batters, savory fillings, and sweet toppings that define our menu. This role requires a mastery of consistency and a high energy pace; you ensure that our kitchen is fully stocked and prepared to handle the rush of a busy day without ever compromising our gold standard for freshness. You are the silent engine of Sweet Paris, using your culinary skills to chop, simmer, and mix with precision.     Responsibilities:

    Prepare our signature crepe batters and house made sauces from scratch, following exact recipes for perfect consistency.

    Execute high volume vegetable, fruit, and protein prep (chopping, slicing, cooking, and portioning) with professional skills and attention to details.

    Monitoring stock levels and ensure all prep items are labeled, rotated (FIFO), and stored according to health and safety standards.

    Communicate to management the needs of the kitchen

    Anticipate the needs of the Crepe Crafters to ensure they need to they never run out of the ingredients needed for a seamless shift, especially during peak hours.

    Follow all food safety rules and regulations

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma/GED

    Able to lift over 30lbs

    ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification (can be obtained if hired)

    Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

    Excellent organizational skills
