Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety regulations

Monitor food inventory, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and service

Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries and supplies

Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain consistency

Adapt to varying prep and line cooking duties as needed during service

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or prep cook in a professional kitchen

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Food Handler Certification or ServSafe certification preferred

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
