At Buck & Rider, we take pride in serving the freshest seafood flown in daily and hand-cut steaks, in a high-energy, high-volume environment. We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team and support the backbone of our scratch kitchen.
What You’ll Do
Assist chefs by preparing high-quality ingredients with precision and consistency
Follow recipes and portion standards to support smooth line service
Wash, chop, measure, and store produce, seafood, meats, and other items with care
Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following food safety and sanitation standards
Work efficiently to support a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
Support team members and jump in where needed to ensure flawless service
What We’re Looking For
Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred, but not required—we’ll train the right person with the right attitude
Strong knife skills and a passion for learning classic prep techniques
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization

Requirements:
Ability to read recipes and follow their instructions, measurements, etc.
Keen eye for plating and presentation
Professional appearance and strong communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
Ability to spend long periods on your feet and lift 50lbs
