Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Cafeteria Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for morning food preparation, packaging, transportation of food items to an off-site location, and providing excellent customer service as a cafeteria attendant and cashier.
This position requires someone who is organized, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule Options
4:00 AM – 12:00 P.M or
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Some flexibility may be required based on business needs.)
Key Responsibilities
Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion standards
Package and label food for transport and service
Safely transport prepared food to an off-site location
Set up and maintain cafeteria service area
Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and service areas
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
Follow all food safety and company policies
Qualifications
Previous food prep, kitchen, cafeteria, or food service experience preferred
Ability to work early morning shifts
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if transportation is required)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic math skills and cash handling experience preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
