About the Role:

Fit Prep in Baltimore, MD is looking for a talented and motivated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team! Responsibilities:

Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and daily prep lists

Wash, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients with precision

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift

Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures (FIFO)

Assist line cooks and kitchen staff during high-volume meal prep and service periods

Monitor and rotate stock, communicating low inventory levels to kitchen leadership

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards and health code regulations

Requirements:

Prior experience in a prep cook, kitchen, or food service role preferred

Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment

Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality

Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude

Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe a plus

Must be available to work Friday to Saturday
