We’re a fast-paced catering company specializing in off-site events, corporate functions, weddings, and private parties. We’re looking for a reliable Prep Cook to support our kitchen team with high-quality food prep, organization, and clean execution.
Key Responsibilities
Prep ingredients for large-scale catering production (chopping, portioning, mixing, assembling
Follow recipes, prep lists, and chef instructions to maintain consistency and quality
Assist with basic cooking tasks (stocks, sauces, roasting, batch prep) as needed
Maintain clean, organized workstations and properly label/date/store food (FIFO)
Support packing and staging of catering orders (hot/cold items, garnishes, sauces, disposables)
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification required)
Assist with end-of-shift cleanup, dishwashing support, and trash/recycling removal
Communicate inventory needs and report low-stock items to kitchen leadership
Qualifications
Prior prep cook or catering experience required
Strong knife skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and punctuality (early mornings, late nights, weekends may be required)
Team-focused attitude with attention to detail and cleanliness
