    We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our catering kitchen team! This schedule will be 4-5 days a week (weekday mornings 7am-3pm) and availability for weekend mornings is required as well. Occasionally, you will work weekend mornings (as early as 5am) when we have catering events scheduled, in addition to the normal weekday schedule.

    Job Duties:

    Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.

    Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift

    Storing all food properly

    Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils

    Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator or freezer as required by the chef

    Following prep lists created by chefs.

    Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients such as soup stock to be used in the cooking process.

    Preparing hot meals/cold meals/ etc. for all locations

    Preparing dishes, such as entrees or salads.

    Check quality of ingredients

    Prepare salads, breads, salad dressings and sauces as well as other food for catering orders

    Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    Availability weekday and weekend mornings.

    Able to work in a fast-paced environment

    Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

    Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift

    Self-motivated and self-directed

    Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks

    Proven experience as prep cook/line cook (Minimum 2 years)

    Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds or more

    Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

    Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

    Very good communication skills

    Authorized to work in the United States.
