    Midtown Table is a Medure Brothers’ concept that serves Italian-inspired lunch and dinner. Fresh milled wheat is used to create breads, pasta, and pizza, all crafted by hand.

    Our Prep Cooks perform various food preparation, cooking, and cleaning tasks to ensure the kitchen remains efficient in creating and delivering dishes for our guests.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Inspect assigned workstation for cleanliness and sufficient inventory and supplies

    Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, preparing sauces, and making pasta and breads)

    Ensure food is properly stored and rotated, and adhere to safe food handling standards

    Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness

    Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative team environment

    Qualifications and Skills:

    Previous experience as a restaurant Prep Cook 1 to 3 years

    Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

    Exceptional knife skills and strong product knowledge

    Thrive on working with a team in a fast-paced environment

    Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail

    Basic food safety understanding and practice

    Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members

    Hardworking with a positive and upbeat attitude

    Reliable transportation to and from work

    Food Handler Certification a plus and will be required within 60 days of hire
