    Experienced Prep Cook/Part Time

    Key Responsibilities:

    Ingredient Preparation:

    Wash, chop, slice, dice, and otherwise prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.

    Food Safety:

    Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain a clean and sanitized workstation.

    Kitchen Organization:

    Organize and maintain food storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and storage of ingredients.

    Assistance to Chef:

    Assist chef with other tasks as needed, including preparing simple dishes like salads or sauces.

    Equipment Maintenance:

    Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.

    Inventory Management:

    Assist with inventory management and restocking of kitchen supplies.

    Following Prep Lists:

    Follow prep lists created by chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure all necessary ingredients are ready for service.

    Essential Skills:

    Knife Skills: Strong knife skills are essential for efficient and safe food preparation.

    Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is needed to follow recipes and ensure accurate ingredient preparation.

    Communication: Effective communication skills are needed to understand instructions and collaborate with other kitchen staff.

    Physical Stamina: Must to be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

    Time Management: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.

    Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.

    Qualifications:

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience: Previous kitchen experience or culinary training.
