Restaurant experience is preferred but the right candidate can be trained. We have full-time and part-time positions available. Prep cooks must work early mornings and be available weekends.

Pay/Perks

$18-$22/hr plus tips

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prep menu items correctly and efficiently

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Communicate effectively and respectfully with all staff members

Stock, prep, and clean all designated areas by checklists and management

Assist in reducing and recording waste

Participate in daily kitchen opening procedures

Follow all local, state, and federal health regulations

Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred

General knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes

Excellent time management skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to frequently lift 5-10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work safely around hazardous equipment and chemicals
