Job Description

Prep Staffing is looking for a Recruiter to join our team on a seasonal basis through December (3 months). This valuable position is responsible for recruiting high volume for a fulfillment center (light industrial / warehouse positions) in Louisville, Kentucky. This position is full-time (7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) located in Riverport area of Louisville, Kentucky.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contact candidates via phone, text messaging, and email to schedule interviews and update status of candidates in system.

• Post jobs on job boards and social media, including outreach to local colleges and other community organizations.

• Greet candidates when they arrive and have them complete all application paperwork. Interview candidate individually and conduct group interviews as needed.

• In partnership with Recruiting Manager, run the required pre-employment background checks and job offer and orientation details to candidates.

• Update recruiting activity spreadsheet (open positions, candidates being interviewed, positions filled with start dates, etc.)

• Send reminder emails/texts about 1st day orientation.

• Assist Recruiting Manager with all new hire paperwork (employment/payroll forms, application) and I-9 documentation.

• Assist with new employee orientations, time clock, and answering questions for new hires.

• Daily check the call in attendance phone number, contact employees, and send email to management.

• Assist Recruiting Manager with any other HR tasks including attendance tracking, daily reporting, ADP tasks, or reward programs.

• Assist candidates and Prep Staffing employees with any questions, and provide additional recruiting/HR support as needed to the Recruiting Manager and Director of Human Resources in Seattle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years’ Recruiting or Onsite/HR Staffing experience with strong people skills.
• Demonstrated experience with high volume (production, light industrial) staffing in the local/Louisville market required. Prior experience with new hire orientations and paperwork (ideal, not required).
• Must be a strong communicator, work collaboratively and pro-actively with all employees and managers.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must have a personality that likes working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where routine is not common and change is often.
