    Washing, chopping, slicing, peeling, and otherwise preparing vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients as per recipe specifications.

    Ingredient organization:

    Labeling and properly storing all ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.

    Basic cooking tasks:

    May include tasks like parboiling vegetables, reducing sauces, or preparing simple dishes like salads.

    Kitchen maintenance:

    Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, washing dishes, taking out trash, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

    Following instructions:

    Adhering to prep lists and recipes provided by chefs, ensuring consistent quality of ingredients.

    Food safety compliance:

    Practicing proper knife handling, following food safety guidelines, and reporting any potential food safety issues.

    Required skills for a prep cook:

    Knife skills: Ability to safely and efficiently chop, slice, and dice various ingredients

    Attention to detail: Precisely following recipes and ensuring proper portioning
