Water Street Bagel Co. is a fast-paced, locally owned bagel shop specializing in wood-fired bagels, scratch-made cream cheeses, and high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. We’re a friendly, hardworking team that takes pride in great food and great service — and we’re looking for a dependable Prep Cook / Team Member to join our kitchen crew! You will also learn the line to help during busy times and to gain more hours!

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily prep of ingredients including slicing produce, meats, spreads, and bagel toppings

Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality and presentation standards

Keep prep and storage areas clean, organized, and fully stocked

Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Support upstairs kitchen and front-of-house teams as needed during busy periods

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen or prep

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs

Punctual and reliable with weekend availability
