What You Will Be Doing

As Business Data Analyst, you’ll report directly to our Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for delivering analysis and insights on the performance of the company, key products, customer behavior, KPI’s and other ad hoc needs. You will communicate your findings effectively with executives and other business leaders, and your work will drive major decisions throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

Flexing your Amazon QuickSight, SQL, Python, predictive analytics, and AI skills as you analyze and interrogate data with a laser eye for detail

Consolidating large data sets from multiple sources, spotting trends and opportunities, and gaining insights to support informed business decisions

Creating reports and visualizations that summarize key insights and trends

Developing and maintaining data models and databases to support ongoing analysis and reporting

Collaborating with other departments within the organization to ensure data accuracy and consistency across different systems and processes

Approaching data with curiosity and challenging when appropriate

Communicating with a variety of stakeholders from small distributors to top executives

How You Qualify

To be considered for this role, you should have:

5+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, analyzing large and complex data sets, identifying patterns and trends, and drawing insights used to inform business decisions

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field

Proficiency with advanced myriad SQL formulas, advanced MS Excel functionality, and various data visualization applications

Demonstrated experience analyzing large datasets with cloud-scale business intelligence tools, preferably including Amazon QuickSight

Knowledge of and practical experience using statistical analysis and modeling techniques, as well as machine learning and AI tools

Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience working with executives and other business leaders to identify data opportunities for improvement and transformation

Strong and meticulous attention to detail

Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and sometimes ambiguous environment

In addition to position requirements. We have a few preferences including:

Experience working with statistical packages for analyzing datasets (R, Python, SQL)

Experience using AWS Maching Learning/ SageMaker

Telecommunications industry knowledge and experience

Please note: This is a remote position. StandUp Wireless is headquartered in Newport KY with offices in Rockville, MD, and Denver, CO. This role will function remotely working from your home office.
