Responsibilities

• Review and analyze digital files for print readiness, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Perform quality checks on proofs and final prints to identify any discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address quality concerns and provide solutions.
• Utilize prepress software and tools to prepare files for production, including color correction and layout adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of quality assurance processes and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and enhance overall quality control.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in prepress and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in graphic design or printing technology is a plus.
• Proven experience in prepress operations or quality assurance in a printing environment.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and print production processes.
• Proficiency in prepress software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, PDF workflow tools).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Salary info:

$22 - $25 / hr
