Human Resources Assistant
Rydal Park, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown is hiring for a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team!
General Responsibilities
Assists in the coordination of the day to day Human Resources functions of the community. Acts as an advocate for employees and managers, promoting positive employee relations. Assists in the HR compliance issues and ensures full compliance with all DOH, DPW and other regulatory requirements at all times. Performs duties in support of Presby's Inspired Life's mission to ensure the highest quality of resident care in an economically sound and efficient manner.
Essential Duties
-Assist in the overall recruitment process. a. Follows appropriate guidelines for internal job posting, external advertising requests and selection of qualified candidates. b. Reviews all internals and external applications to ensure that they meet minimum requirements. c. Makes formal job offer, conducts employment references, criminal background checks and drugs screens as part of the post offer process. Coordinates start date. d. Communicates with internal and external candidates not selected maintaining positive employee relations during the employment process. -Ensures credentials are kept current for all team members. Communicates with the Administrator and/or Department Head of any potential need to remove employees from the schedule.

Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Professional Certification in Human Resources (PHR) a plus. Experience in healthcare field desired. Knowledge of state and federal regulations, pertaining to the healthcare field, a plus.
Skill(s): Proficient PC Skills; advanced user level of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable software. Ability to communicate and interact clearly, courteously, and professionally with residents and staff at all levels of the organization. Proven competence in handling confidential information. Strong skills in planning, organizing and handling multiple tasks. Ability to work as a team member. Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills. Ability to operate various office equipment and machines.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources is required
