    MO-RANCH MISSION STATEMENT

    The mission of Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly is to provide a special place and an enriching program in a living, learning Christian environment to enable people to grow in God through Jesus Christ.

    OBJECTIVE OF JOB

    Recruit and onboard employees as needed. Support and assist in all phases of Human Resources.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    1. Primary recruiter and Human Resource day to day contact.:

    a. Recruit, screen, and/or monitor all exempt and non-exempt personnel, following comprehensive personnel administrative procedures in compliance with Mo-Ranch, state, and federal policies and regulations.

    b. Vets and presents applicants to hiring manager.

    c. Conducts reference checks and background checks and reports the information to the hiring manager.

    d. Ensure legal compliance of all personnel policies.

    e. Executes on-boarding and exit processes

    f. Arranges regular employee orientation events with a strong emphasis on the Code of Ethics written in the Employee Handbook.

    1. Monitors performance appraisals and notifying directors that appraisals are due insuring that performance appraisals and changes in status or pay are completed and submitted according to scheduled dates

    2. Coordinates technical and professional training and maintains records.

    3. As a member of the Loss Prevention Team Investigates on-the-job accidents and injuries; prepares reports & files Worker’s Compensation Insurance claims.

    4. Schedules child protection training and sexual harassment training as appropriate.

    5. Develops statistical reports as needed and/or requested

    6. Monitor employee complaints or other employee relations problems as required, including those dealing with human rights and EEO; acts as a resource person to the hiring manager as necessary.

    7. Compiles and maintains accurate personnel files and records, job descriptions, and record data for each employee

    8. Support Staff Housing program:

    a. Processes and maintains forms for housing requests, assignment, vacating, etc.

    b. Coordinates housing assignments

    c. Perform housing inspections as assigned by supervisor

    1. Promotes harmony and unity among staff and high quality of hospitality for guests by staff.

    2. Seeks continuing education opportunities in personnel law, policy, & administration, and other related topics.

    3. Ability to understand the role as a staff function in support of line management. The hiring managers are the Human Resources Coordinator’s “customer”.

    4. Is a member of the Social Committee. Organizing and executing awards recognition and morale boosting events.

    5. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least three to five years experience desirable.

    Experience

    1. Minimum of two years computer operations experience in a local area network environment

    2. Good knowledge of microcomputer-based business applications including Microsoft Word and Excel

    Abilities

    1. Ability to deal with persons using human relations and relational management skills

    2. Ability to use vocational tests, training methods and other skills that will enhance the services and performance of Mo-Ranch staff

    3. Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills

    4. Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines

    Grooming & Uniform

    All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed professional appearance

    Physical

    Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, and visual acuity. Must be able to squat, bend, kneel, climb and reach

    Work Schedule

    Must be available to work weekends and holidays, and be flexible with working hours

    Personal

    1. Must have good moral character and high degree of honesty, trustworthiness, and integrity

    2. This is a highly sensitive position which requires an ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality.

    3. Possess and demonstrate a positive attitude to guests, supervisors, peers, and fellow employees

    4. Good driving record, able to meet the driving requirements set forth by the insurance carrier

    5. Maintain professional decorum

    6. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous activities
