Overview
The Preschool Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of a high-quality early childhood program. This role ensures smooth office operations while providing excellent service to families, staff, and the community.
Responsibilities
- Manage front office operations (phones, emails, greeting families).
- Schedule and conduct tours for prospective families and support enrollment follow-up.
- Maintain student files, enrollment documentation, and attendance logs.
- Assist with billing, tuition tracking, and basic administrative reporting.
- Support licensing compliance and health and safety documentation.
- Coordinate calendars, communications, and special events.
- Provide general administrative support to the Director and teaching staff.
Qualifications
- Administrative experience required; preschool or childcare experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and general office technology.
- Professional, welcoming demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
