Assistant Teacher Primrose School at Crossroads Park

We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support the implementation of a developmentally appropriate program that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the supervision and daily classroom functions for a group of children

Follow all local, state, and Primrose health and safety guidelines

Assist in implementing approved lesson plans and classroom schedules

Maintain an organized, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment

Reinforce positive behaviors and set clear expectations for children

Perform light housekeeping and ensure cleanliness of classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds

Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with school standards

Assist in other duties as assigned by the Director or designee

Desired Qualifications:

Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program preferred

Understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs for child care, safety, and emergency needs

For Infant and Young Toddler teachers: ability to safely lift infants in and out of cribs
